最新麻豆视频’s Bridget Carleton and her Minnesota Lynx team were robbed of a WNBA title.
That’s the narrative that is being put forth in both the national and social media on Monday, following the New York Liberty won a decisive Game 5 67-62 in overtime in New York on Sunday night.
鈥淚t鈥檚 a shame that officiating had such a hand in a series like this,鈥 Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve said after the game. 鈥淥bviously there鈥檚 always going to be a team that鈥檚 going to be a little more disappointed than the other. I thought today was incredibly disappointing.鈥
鈥淭his (expletive) ain鈥檛 that hard,鈥 she added. 鈥淥fficiating, it鈥檚 not that hard.鈥
Reeve went so far as to say the game was 鈥渟tolen鈥 from the Lynx.
Social media chimed in, including NBA icon LeBron James who tweeted, 鈥淚鈥檓 sorry but that wasn鈥檛 a foul! Let the damn players dictate the outcome of a close battled tested game.鈥
Carleton, a John McGregor Secondary School graduate, is a starter with the Lynx. In Game 5 she had three points and six rebounds.
Denying results is cool when it’s your preferred narrative.
Interesting isn’t it?
