Ridgetown getting an expansion OSHL franchise
Senior hockey is coming to Ridgetown.
The Ridgetown Royals will make their debut this fall in the Ontario Super Hockey League.
The Royals, who are taking the same colour scheme and mascot name of the Ridgetown high school, are scheduled to play their home games Saturdays at East Kent Memorial Arena.
The Tilbury Bluebirds played the past couple of years in the OSHL, but are making the jump to the independent Northern Premier League, along with the Alvinston Bees and Strathroy Jets.
